A cap table (capitalisation table) is the definitive ownership record for a company: who holds shares, at what percentage, what class, and for how much invested. With Elevify, you fill in your shareholders and the template calculates ownership percentages automatically, generating a clean cap table as Word or PDF.
Built for founders and CFOs who need a clear, shareable snapshot of current ownership β for board meetings, investor due diligence, or internal records. Supports both share-count mode (enter number of shares) and percentage mode (enter ownership directly). For complex modeling, round simulations, or exit waterfall analysis, use a dedicated cap table platform alongside this document.

'By Share Count' is the standard mode β you enter the number of shares each shareholder holds, and ownership percentages are calculated automatically. Use 'By Percentage' if you don't yet know your exact share counts and want to enter ownership stakes directly (e.g. 40%, 30%, 20%).
Yes. There are dedicated Option Pool fields for both modes. In share count mode, enter the total number of option pool shares; in percentage mode, enter the pool's percentage. The option pool is factored into the total and listed separately below the shareholder table.
Yes. Each shareholder row has a Share Class column: Common, Preferred Series Seed, Preferred Series A, Preferred Series B, or Other. This lets you distinguish founder common stock from investor preferred stock in the same table.
